Celebrating 10 Years!!! - Wed, Apr 25 Thank you to all who came to our birthday party. It is all of our wonderful students and parents who make our academy so successful. We hope to attract many more grear students as we pursue through our 10th year.

Adult Programs Starting Soon - Tue, Apr 24 CALLING ALL MUSICAL ADULTS!!! We are offering group classes especially designed for adults who love music and have always wanted to learn. MUSIC APPRECIATION taught by Dr. David Roe and GROUP VIOLIN taught by Christina Scala will be offered this summer. Starting the week of June 4th. Click here for more information.

COME JOIN OUR GLEE CLUB - Tue, Apr 24 This years Glee Club was a great success. The kids and teenagers who participated attracted a lot of attention at the concerts they performed. At the Christmas Concert at the Georgian mall shoppers broke out into song along with them. Glee Club will be continuing on Mondays until June and starting again in the fall. For those interested in joining you should come by and see them rehearse on Monday evening. Visit our Glee Club page for more information.

Summer is Coming!

JOIN US FOR SUMMER CAMP

Summer day camp at the Huronia Arts Academy offers your child from ages 5-13 tons of intelligent fun! Kids will be able to try a variety of instruments such as violin, guitar, drums, piano and voice, as well as apply their creativity on arts and crafts. No instrumental experience is necessary. In fact, participants will be at various levels of musical ability. There is no need for children to own their own musical instrument, as we have many to choose from at the Academy.
Our camps run from 9:00am to 4:00pm each week for the eight weeks of summer. Extended Care is available upon request. In the afternoons, children and camp counselors will venture out to local parks, take trips to the beach just down the street, or to the splash pad. Our camps are so successful that kids come back from year to year and anticipate seeing their returning friends and our wonderful camp counselors.

The price of Summer Music Camp is $175 per week.

The Huronia Arts Academy Welcomes You!

No matter the age or level of ability, our teachers are dedicated to help students master the skills needed to make beautiful music.

We are dedicated to excellence in music education for students of Barrie and the surrounding areas including Orillia, Midland, Innisfil, Penetanguishene and everywhere in Simcoe County. Private lessons and group classes are offered to budding musicians of all ages. In fact, our Kindermusik classes have students that range in age from newborn to seven years, and we offer a recorder ensemble for seniors! Students come for lessons from places as far as Aurora to Huntsville and Parry Sound, to learn any instrument of their choice - from violin to drums, from guitar to vocals.
