Louise Martin, B.Mus. Ed.

Founding Director & Principal

Louise Martin is an accomplished string performer and music educator. She studied viola at the Royal Conservatory of Music and University of Western Ontario and has performed extensively across Canada.  Mother of three boys, she balances her love of family, passion for her music and the joy she gets teaching music to others.

Louise Martin, B.Mus.Ed. is an accomplished string performer and music educator. She studied viola at University of Western Ontario (1985-88) with Ralph Alderich, and Stan Soloman, (Principal Violist T.S.O. retired), Steve Dann (Principal Violist, T.S.O.)   Louise also studied extensively at the Royal Conservatory of Music performing in the RCM Wind Ensemble, RCM String Orchestra, and the Orchestral Training Program

Louise continues to play professionally across Ontario with the Huronia Symphony Orchestra, Oshawa-Durham Symphony and many smaller chamber and theatre ensembles.

Previous engagements include the Etobicoke Symphony Orchestra.
