Summer Music Daycamp

Sign your kids up for a fun and stimulating musical experience. As well as the usual daycamp for school-aged kids, this year we're offering a special half-day Kindermusik camp for 3-5 year olds. See the link under "Programs" for details.

Senior Student Orchestra

The Senior Orchestra is under the direction of Louise Martin and is comprised of violinists, violists and cellists. We welcome string players of all ages, from aproximately Grade IV RCM Level to about the Grade XIII Level. Many of our string players continue on to perform with the Huronia Symphony Orchestra and some stay with our smaller ensemble because of the specialized string training.

Some of our students go on to study music at the University level after training with us in this orchestra.

Annually, our orchestra performs a Christmas Concert as well as an end of year Concert. We also have performed in such festivals as the Barrie Kiwanis Music Festival, the New Tecumseth Arts Festival, and the Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival.

This June, we will be taking our string orchestra on an elementary school tour to perform and do musical workshops for the young children of our community.
