Huronia Arts Academy Registration PoliciesRegistrationsIt is our school policy that registrations will not be accepted if past or current fees are outstanding. Registration and payment of tuition will be accepted only after all outstanding amounts are settled. Any credits due to the student will be mailed at the end of June.
The Huronia Arts Academy accepts registrations for individual lessons throughout the academic year subject to the availability of the instructor. In most cases where these lessons are begun after the beginning of September, fees are prorated according to the number of remaining lessons. Registrations for class lessons are dependent on the nature of the class and the availability of space. Payment OptionsChequePlease make cheques payable to: Huronia Arts Academy. All NSF cheques will be charged back a $25 NSF fee for each cheque plus any financial institution fees. NSF cheques must be corrected with 15 days of the first of the month, or the student will be suspended. Credit CardThe Academy is pleased to accept MasterCard and Visa as payment options. We do not process debit card payments or direct withdrawal payments at this time. Denied credit card payments must be corrected within 15 days of the first of the month, or the student will be suspended. Post-Dated Payments10 post-dated cheques or credit card payments are required for the year Sept 1st to June 1st. Cheques are our preferred payment form, but Visa and MasterCard are also accepted. ***STUDENTS ARE NOT REGISTERED, AND SO NOT ABLE TO TAKE CLASSES UNTIL ALL 10 CHEQUES ARE IN THE OFFICE.*** Group ProgramsFees for group programs are due in full September 1st, or the first day of the program. If the program fee is more than $150, the payment can be split into two payments postdated September 1st and February 1st. Registration is NOT complete until both cheques are received. Group program fees are non-refundable. Cancellation PolicyStudents withdrawing from private lessons must notify their instructor and the office 4 WEEKS before they withdraw (balance of payments will be returned). Students may attend the last four weeks lessons after providing notification of withdrawal. Withdrawals/refunds are not accepted after April 15th. Student Absences
