Testimonials

Working through Huronia Arts Academy has given me many opportunities that I would never have had just teaching privately in my own small home. One of those opportunities is Kindermusik, combining my love of young children with my love of music. The Huronia Recorder Ensemble has given me an outlet for playing my tenor and soprano recorders; instruments that I first enjoyed back in elementary school.

Teaching at the academy has given me a sense of community and a support network that I didn't have working out of my home. The teachers often swap music and teaching ideas. I intend to stay for many years to come.

As a string teacher at H.A.A. since 2002 I can assure parents and students of the quality, professionalism and personal interaction that they will receive from their teacher.  The teachers are all qualified in their field and interact well with students and parents.

Their is a relaxed and warm atmosphere where teachers co-operate with each other and are more then happy to answer inquires and give direction to studnets and parents alike.  The recitals are interesting, low key and fun!  We even have theme recitals, like pajama recitals where students come dressed in their pajamas with teddy bears and plenty of food and socialising afterwards among students and teachers.  Our orchestras and group programs are very accepting of all playing levels and fun.

Teachers strive to make music education in depth and fun for a life time of playing.

Kindermusik has combined my love of young children with my love of music, and the Parkview Ensemble has given me an outlet for playing my tenor and soprano recorders; instruments that I first enjoyed back in elementary school. Teaching in my own home has not given me the same sense of community and support that I have gained in my time at the academy. I intend to stay for many years to come.
